What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of fine, sterile needles into precise points on the skin.
It can be utilized to assist in the treatment of almost all numerous diseases and ailments such as:
What we can help with :
* Qian et al. (2016) explained that “Based on an analysis of the studies, acupuncture improves the CPR (Clinical Pregnancy Rate) among women undergoing IVF.”
** Manheimer et al. (2008) concluded that “Current preliminary evidence suggests that acupuncture given with embryo transfer improves rates of pregnancy and live birth among women undergoing in vitro fertilisation.”
Although earlier systematic reviews found that the evidence for the effectiveness of acupuncture used to support IVF or other assisted reproductive technology was “unclear”.
How does acupuncture work?
It has been shown to promote the body’s natural healing capabilities and enhance its function by placing the hair-thin needles into acupoints in the body and stimulating these points.
Energy, called “qi” in Chinese medicine terms, flows like rivers along pathways throughout the body. This constant flow of energy keeps your body balanced and it is when this flow of energy is blocked that can lead to illness.
There are 2,000 acupoints along the body’s energy pathways. Acupuncture enables the stimulation of these various points with fine needles and relieves impediments in the flow of energy, allowing the body to rid itself of disease.
